JOE
THE INSPIRATION BEHIND J.O.E
On Saturday 10th November 2018, heaven gained an angel, earth lost a legend. Joseph Randolph Morris tragically died suddenly and unexpectedly from Pneumococcal Meningitis. Pneumococcal Meningitis has around 22% mortality rate amongst adults and 8% among children. Its symptoms are easily missed and can appear as fever, limb pains, headaches or generally feeling unwell. Sadly in Joe's case all his symptoms were missed which led to his untimely death.
Joe was my baby brother and one of the things he would often say to me when I would invite him to church was "when you start a church, then I will come". When he transitioned his words were on repeat in my mind. I ran for as long as I could and as far away as possible until I ended up in the face of the One who called me and chose me for such a time as this.

Karen Allen - Founder of J.O.E

Meet The Visionary

Karen Allen is a force to be reckoned with. A thought leader, author, speaker and mother of five, Karen finally accepted the call to Pastoral leadership after the sudden and unexpected death of her brother Joe on November 10th 2018. As a pioneering leader she is radical, relentless and revolutionary. Her mission and mandate can be summarised in her motto which is to 'REACH the lost, RESCUE the hurting and RESTORE the broken'.
